Emulation is a printer function that allows various printing languages or protocols (e.g., PCL, ZPL, IPDS) to be emulated without requiring changes to the software or applications.
Emulation facilitates integration into existing ERP, WMS, or production systems, enables compatible printing, and ensures just-in-time and inline printing processes in industry, logistics, and manufacturing.

The printer behaves as if it were a different printer type (e.g., ZPL, PCL, IGP). This eliminates the need to adapt the application software.
Programming or control languages supported by the printer (e.g., PCL5, ZPL, IGP, Labelpoint, direct PDF printing, etc.) enable it to work with different software systems and applications.
